Programs

Program Info

The American Diabetes Association’s Greater Louisiana office provides great local programs for people living with diabetes, their friends and family. For information about programs, please contact Treva Lincoln at 888-3422383 ext. 6074 or tlincoln@diabetes.org.

Continuing Education

Louisiana is one of only eight Association offices that hosted a continuing education program in 2014. The program focused on the management of a child in the school setting. We hope to continue to broaden our scope of information for our 2015 program.

I Decide to Stop Diabetes

The I Decide to Stop Diabetes campaign, formerly known as ID Day, is a nationwide annual three-week effort (from Nov. 9 to Nov. 30) that encourages faith and community-based organizations to join with other organizations across the country to Take the Pledge to live a healthier life to Stop Diabetes.

Give Back

GiveNOLA Day

Together with the Greater New Orleans Foundation, our office is participating in the second annual GiveNOLA Day on Tuesday, May 5. For one day only, you will be able to donate to the American Diabetes Association’s Louisiana office from anywhere by visiting our page. Your generosity will help us continue to community programs we are able to provide for those individuals who are affected by diabetes. Mark your calendars for May 5!
