The Retina Institute, LA Primary Care and the American Diabetes Association have partnered for awareness of general eye disease and preventative health talk scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2015. The Meet & Greet will take place at 5pm with the presentation starting at 5:30pm. Door prizes include two $50 Target gift cards, coffee mugs, bags and more! Refreshments will be served. Happy New Year to you all. I hope you all had a chance to celebrate the start of 2015 in good spirits with family and friends. Now that we’re into the New Year, I know that you are all looking ahead and thinking about what this year may bring — including in our fight to Stop Diabetes.
The ADA marks its 75th anniversary in 2015. As we celebrate that milestone, I would like to thank you all for your support and dedication to the work that the ADA is doing in our community. I’m sure by working together, keeping focused on our goals and putting our constituencies first, we can realize our ambitions. These will certainly continue to be my priorities. I hope we can all do the same as we work together on this critical effort.
